MEREDITH DREMAN, BA
- McLean title(s): Clinical Research Assistant II, Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging Core (CCNC)
Meredith Dreman is a research assistant at the Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging core at Mclean Hospital’s Brain Imaging Center. After completing an Americorp service term with disadvantaged youth and teaching at a juvenile detention camp in California, she joined the CCNC to take a leadership role in the core’s ongoing clinical research projects. Included in these projects is a novel investigation of how citicoline, a neuroprotective agent, affects cognitive functioning in returning veterans with mTBI. In addition, she is taking the role of primary psychometrician within a number of multimodal brain imaging studies. As a clinical research assistant, she is gaining experience in administering neuropsychological assessments, using neuroimaging techniques, and working with subjects in a broad range of studies. In the future, Meredith hopes to advance her graduate studies in a way that combines neurocognitive research, clinical interactions, and mental health advocacy.
