McLean Hospital to hold free depression screening on Oct. 6

Belmont, MA - In honor of the 21st anniversary of National Depression Screening Day, Harvard affiliate McLean Hospital will conduct depression screenings on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Watertown Free Public Library at 123 Main Street, Watertown. The free and confidential screenings will help individuals identify whether they may have depression and what steps they need to take to obtain proper treatment.

The confidential screenings include a written self-test, an educational presentation and a one-on-one interview with a McLean health professional to review screening results.
