Belmont, MA - McLean Hospital will provide free and confidential mood and memory screenings, hands-on demonstrations about brain research and tutorials on how yoga can help relieve stress and anxiety during this year's Partners HealthCare/Channel 7 Health & Fitness Expo. The two-day event will be held Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
In addition to exciting demonstrations, McLean Hospital clinicians Daniel Shapiro, PhD, and Carol Kauffman, PhD, will participate in engaging conversations on the Partners HealthCare physicians stage.
Shapiro, a staff psychologist for McLean Hospital, founder and director of the Harvard International Negotiation Program and associate director of the world-renowned Harvard Negotiation Project, will use his expertise in negotiations to provide the audience with "The 5 Keys to a Fit Relationship." Shapiro's discussion will be on Saturday, June 27 at 4:15 pm.
Kauffman, founding director of the Coaching Institute at McLean Hospital, will teach the audience to use positive psychology to achieve goals in their personal and professional lives. Kauffman will appear on stage on Sunday, June 28 at 4:15 pm.
